Just a few days here from that day known as Christmas to many, Happy Holidays to others, and a few some four letter words that we try and refrain from using because we forgot to get that somebody special a Christmas gift. And it’s always that person that has not gotten you a gift in years but somehow decided to give you something this year. So this should be a much shorter blog and I really am using this as a vehicle to get a couple of things off my chest. Also, it is one day before Thanksgiving and we are going to go quick hits on all of my thoughts before that faithful day. This will be a bit different from my usual blogs, so let’s go shall we?

It be the month of November, a mere few days from where people ingest massive helpings of turkey and then fall asleep watching football and bad parades before engulfing a piece of pumpkin pie. It is the day before Halloween, arguably one of my favorite Holidays as long as I am inside, watching scary movies or playing a frightening video game. Oh, and enjoying a few pieces of candy. Okay, so maybe occasionally I can be encouraged to move away from my box, put on a costume and go to a local function. It is not asking too much for me to go out, just my social ineptitude does not usually allow me to act any differently. A great goal for this website would be writing a blog once a week. A slightly less but still good goal might one blog every two weeks. Now, before this blog I was working on once a year which let’s face facts is pretty bad. So, perhaps the reasonable and decent goal is a blog every 2 to 3 weeks. Now who is taking bets on that actually happening? *crickets* *tumbleweeds in the distance* *eerie Silent Hill music* Hrmm, well let’s take a look inside and discuss everything from The Calling to Peggle 2 to this guy actually attending a voice acting class in the near future. It is really a funny thing. I love my website, but the last ten months have been absolutely nuts. I would have loved to chronicle the whole thing month by month and that way we could see the progression. Instead, I have to hope that this is the start of something that I indeed to keep up about once a month (that seems right) and then keep with it. The good news is that I have no desire to get rid of this site, the even better news is that the Michael I left you with in 2013 is a better one, and it is all thanks to one solitary person. If the pattern you are sensing is that it is longer between my blog posts, then you are absolutely, unequivocally…right. Even though once I get going, I can go for pages and pages, sometimes the actual going part takes some doing. But those who are awesome enough to read my ramblings aren’t looking for excuses now are ya? They are looking for material to captivate their Christmas morning, something to tide over that hot chocolate before that feast comes with either enough turkey or enough ham to feed your family and possibly your neighbor’s too. Then step inside, and we will see what rises to the surface.

Well I am sitting here on a Friday night listening to a little Pet Shop Boys (*deep voice* “West End Girls”). This has been a very long week full of ups and downs. It started out on some of the most unappealing of notes but somewhere along the way it actually became good again and that is where I am bound and determined to keep it as long as humanly possible. Yeah, there is something for those who follow this blog on at least a semi-continuing manner haven’t heard…positivity. Quick, go inside while you still can.

It is Saturday night, I actually just finished watching some college football (Alabama/Texas A&M), and I figured the best thing to do is to spend the next hour or so writing a blog. But for those looking for some careful insight or an experienced look at the big game, don’t you have some douchebag football webpage to be on right about now? This column has nothing to do with football, but much like Johnny Manziel, maybe I can give out a few autographs after I’m done…as long as you don’t sell them on Ebay.
