Dragon Age II added to Backwards Compatibility!!
This was going to happen eventually, and I’m glad it finally did. Dragon Age II kinda had a misstep in terms of sales but its a very good game and deserves to be played (at least once you have stopped playing the first one). I own all three Dragon Age games and would be glad to give this another spin. I think I have the guide to this one too. Anyway, there are three pieces of DLC on this title as well which unfortunately like the first Dragon Age, don’t have a GOTY/Ultimate package to fall back on. So just be weary of that, but excellent choice and I’m glad to see this one on board. Enjoy kids.
- Dragon Age II $19.99 (cheaper on disc)
- DLC w/Achievements: Exiled Prince $6.99
- DLC w/Achievements: Legacy $9.99
- DLC w/Achievements: Mark of the Assassin $9.99
- Free DLC: The Black Emporium
Saints Row 2 added to Backwards Compatibility!
Well, I don’t think anybody is really surprised by this announcement. But perhaps people are thinking why did it take so long to get it? Does this mean we’ll see the first Saints Row in 2019 (4 was in 2016, 3 was in 2017, 2 in 2018)? What about Gat out of Hell? Why do I have so many questions about a game I’ll probably never play? Who knows. Anyway, the only downside to this game is the ridiculously priced pieces of DLC. The game we’ve seen on sale plenty of times, the DLC? I’m thinking never. *checks StoreParser* Yep, never. And there was no GOTY version either. So pay $3 or $4 for the game(digital sale or disc) and $17 in DLC. Yeah, that sounds great. Enjoy kids.
- Saints Row 2 $9.99 (cheaper on disc and been on sale countless times)
- DLC w/Achievements: Ultor Exposed $9.99
- DLC w/Achievements: Corporate Warfare $6.99
BC Deals with Gold for the Week of May 1st, 2018
It’s May kids. Gaming wise, I haven’t been doing much. Y’s Origins is not going as well as I would hope. It seems like I have to look up lots of things and it feels more platformy than it should. I know everybody else seems to love it, but for me I could do with a little less jumping. So when I get frustrated, I’m playing odd ball things that I started a while back and dropped for a variety of reasons. Things like Poker Night 2, Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds and Burnout Paradise. All three of those have looming achievements that I’m trying to get to. We’ll see if I pick up something a little more substantial in the upcoming week.
Here are the sales. They are certainly better than the previous week and we even have some DLC to boot too. And we have our first Original Xbox BC Sales. KOTOR is certainly worth $7 if you don’t already have it. Hopefully this is a trend that continues, I’d love to get some of the other OG Xbox games at the $6-$7 range. I don’t know if I’ll grab anything this week but we’ll see. Enjoy kids.
